Stations of the cross

Introduction

Then taking the Twelve aside he said to them, 'Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of man is to come true. For he will be handed over to the gentiles and will be mocked, maltreated and spat on, and when they have scourged him they will put him to death; and on the third day he will rise again.' But they could make nothing of this; what he said was quite obscure to them, they did not understand what he was telling them. (Lk 18, 31-34)...

Hours of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The most favoured of Marian devotions are the Hours of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. They were introduced in Poland by the Jesuits in the sixteenth century. The Hours are an inherent expression of Polish Marian piety and relate only to the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary by the separation into "hours".

Chaplet of the Divine Mercy

The Chaplet to the Divine Mercy is a special prayer, the recitation of which is connected with the wishes of the Lord Jesus sent to Sister Saint Faustina. By this prayer we turn to God for mercy for the whole world and thanks to it we mobilize our forces to practice charity to others every day...

Devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Help

Devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Help

THE ROMAN PRAYER

O Mother of Perpetual Help, with the greatest confidence, I come today before your sacred image to beg for your help. I do not count on my merits or on my good works, but only on the infinite merits of Lord Jesus and for Your unparalleled motherly love. You looked, O Mother, upon the wounds of the Redeemer and His blood shed on the cross for our redemption. This Your Son when dying, gave us You as our Mother. Will then you not be for us, as Your sweet title proclaims, Perpetual Help? So I fervently beseech you Mother of Perpetual Help, through the sorrowful passion and death of Thy Divine Son, through the unspeakable suffering of your heart, O Co-Redeemer, to obtain for me from Your Son the grace, which I so much desire and need so much (in silence mention the request…….)
